''Fey'' is the eponymous debut album of Mexican pop singer Fey. It was released in 1995 with the Sony Music Mexico label. The album has sold over 2 million worldwide.
== Background and recording ==

Initially, Fey began as achorister of the group ''Las hermanas Gil'', which was made up by two of her aunts, a very famous duo during their time. Fey's family did not agree with her wishing to attend dance and singing classes, as they felt she was too young.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Terra: Biography of Fey (in spanish) )〕 For this reason, her aunts decide to include it in the group. Meanwhile, Fey was recording ''demos'' for different labels until around 1989 PolyGram was interested in the Fey's concept, then she was 16 years old. Finally, PolyGram not admit to Fey. Fey and her aunt Nohemi Gil were touching doors, until in 1994, appeared the opportunity in Sony Music, thanks to Toño Berumen, who showed interest in Fey. Signed the contract, Fey traveled to Spain to recorded her first disc. She worked with Jose Ramon Florez, who presented several compositions.
